Every card is checked under daylight-balanced lamps and a loupe. Centring, edges, corners and surface are recorded before anything is priced.
Photographed
You see the actual item. No stock photography, no representative images, no quietly swapping a better copy for a worse one.
Vaulted
Stock sits in a humidity-controlled room in penny sleeves and semi-rigids. Graded slabs stay in their cases in foam-lined drawers.
Dispatched
Sleeved, toploaded, taped, then rigid-mailered or double-boxed for slabs. Tracked and insured to the full sale value.

Si Phan Don means four thousand islands
Where the Mekong widens in southern Laos it breaks into a scatter of islands too numerous to count. Some are large enough to farm. Most are a few trees and a sandbar that disappears in the wet season. Together they are one of the most striking places on the river.
A collection works the same way. Any single card is a small thing. It is the accumulation — the years, the near-misses, the one you finally tracked down — that means something. We named the shop after that idea, and we try to treat every listing as though it is going into someone’s archipelago rather than out of ours.
